Drake Bay Costa Rica...
is well known for its deep, blue,
crystal clear waters that offer some of the most magnificent fishing experiences in the world. Sport fishing in our local waters is world class and this
area (Drake Bay) is regarded by many to be the best in Costa Rica. Full day offshore fishing trips will produce marlin, sailfish, Dorado, wahoo, and tuna.
Yellow fin tuna are also in abundance here. Inshore we find Spanish mackerel, roosterfish, rainbow runner, cabrilla, snapper and jack to name a few.
Drake Bay Sport Fishing is a less expensive alternative to the other fishing packages in the southern pacific area of Costa Rica. We fell in love with the fishing off of Drake Bay and the Osa Peninsula and we know you will too. It is our mission to share the incredible experience of sport fishing.
Our knowledgeable local captains provide excellent service and know where to find the fish. Our boats leave daily right from the shores of the Drake Bay Resort and our knowledgeable captains will provide excellent service. Our captains are locals and know where to catch the fish.
Our Fishing Fleet
We run fully shaded Costa Rican style fiberglass pongas with Johnson/ Evinrude outboard motors We provide all rods, reels and tackle,
unless you prefer to bring your own.

Packages and Prices include
- VIP greeting at San Jose airport, including baggage transfers
- Lodging at Drake Bay Treetop Resort included. (other lodging options are available at addition cost)
- Ground transfers between airport and hotel
- Fishing boat, boat captain, and fishing gear (maximum of 5 people per boat)

Accommodations
Drake Bay Treetop Resort provides you with an affordable and comfortable way to be in the midst of one of the most pristine virgin tropical rain forests in the world.
The rustic atmosphere here offers a very unique beach and primary jungle experience. All rooms are private, are completely screened in and have incredible ocean views (approximately 60 meters from the beach.)
Currently, our resort is closed for remodeling and improvements. Please check back again for more information. We will re-open next year.
A deposit of $500 per angler is required within 10 days of the reservation request. The balance is due 60 days prior to scheduled arrival. A refund of the
deposit minus $150 will be given if notified 30 days prior to the arrival date. If cancellation is after the balance is paid, we will reschedule your trip. Additional charges may apply. There will be no refunds for "no shows".
